Padmashri
realized that quality education through English medium that
was available only at urban areas, had to be brought to
the door steps of the poor farmers living in and around
Pravaranagar. The farmers of the Pravara Co-operative sugar
Factory voluntarily contributed one rupee per tonne of
sugarcane for education fund. With the direct participation of
the shareholders, the premier English Medium Pravara Public
School was established in 1964 and is a member of the
prestigious Indian Public school Conference. |
The sprawling school campus
has all the infrastructure and amenities which even a British
Public School can boast of. The school constantly strives
to maintain appropriate and modern educational environment
and discipline.
The school adopted by the Sports Authority of India has
moulded sports stars of National and International standards,
in athletics, hockey, ball basket, football, gymnastics,
swimming etc. Recently the school has sought membership
of Indian Career Studies (ICS), Lucknow for guidance and
counselling of the students.

in every district. Through this defence oriented course,
the main purpose is to develop patriotism, se1fconfidence,
