DEPARTMENT OF FOREIGN LANGUAGES

Hon'bIe Amdar Shri Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil has travelled across the globe and has understood the vital role played by language in an individuals daily life, industry trade and commerce. English language (Spoken & Written) is to be reinforced and Foreign Languages are to be taught. With this idea a Department of Foreign Languages will start functioning from August 2004. To begin with this department shall have an expert of Spoken English and French and German language teachers. These teachers will be helping staff and students in Pravara Public School, Pravara Kanya Vidya Mandir, English
Medium School, Loni and Padmashri Vikhe Patil College (PVP), Loni. Certainly this department will go a long way in preparing our students to face the challenges of life in a be-fitting manner.

YOGA

The ancient Indian way of life 'Yoga' (although unfortunately forgotten in recent past) has incalculable value in our day to day life was realized by our Trustee Hon 'bIe Shri Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil. On his advise regular Yoga classes have been introduced from the academic year 2004. Four well qualified and experienced Yoga instructors (02 ladies and 02 gents) have been appointed. They are teaching Yogasanas (theory and practice) to all age groups. This facility has been extended to the common man in the nearby areas. Classes are organized for them on regular basis. Yoga is the very core of life and unites body, mind and intellect. The children are taught medicinal aspects of Yoga too.
